Portland, Oregon, has been my playground while I juggle work online, and I've been on the hunt for that "this is home" feeling. I'm all about soaking up the great weather, discovering those under-the-radar spots, savoring fantastic food and drinks, catching some live tunes, checking out cool art and design stuff, and snagging killer views.

Portland's food scene is epic, with food carts dishing up global eats at places like Cartopia, and Pine Street Market's got it all. When I'm not eating, I'm exploring the local craft brew scene at spots like Deschutes and Breakside Brewing.
Jamming to Live Music:
Portland's music scene is legit. The Doug Fir Lounge and Mississippi Studios are my go-to spots for catching live acts, but honestly, you can find live music on the streets too.
Art and Design Vibes:
The city's got an artistic spirit that's hard to ignore. The Pearl District's art galleries are always inspiring, and Design Week Portland showcases some crazy cool local talent.
Views that Wow:
For moments of zen, I head to the Pittock Mansion for killer views of the city and Mount Hood, or the International Rose Test Garden for a colorful spectacle. Powell Butte Nature Park's another fave for those epic Cascade Range vistas.
